Come inside.....into my lair! Do not be afraid, this place may be the safest in the world!! Here I give council and study. This is my home! Welcome!!

In the picture above, i am talking to one of my many freinds. This is common and happens often. Now I welcome YOU to talk with me. As many know, my kind has a great knowlage of the world and the planes beyond. If you think of any questions during your visit, don't hesitate to ask!

My whole lair is not like this. Behind the "meeting place", is a path that leads deeper into the mountain. After some turns, you will come upon a huge open area. In this area, the walls are lined with books bound in many different colors of leather and the such. Most of those books are spell books, written in the spidery language of magic. The others are books from the great historians of the world.

This library is where I spend the most of my free time. I do let my freinds read the histories of this world and sometimes I let the gifted search my personal library of spell books. Among the library bookshelves, there are statues that were carved by the best of the dwarven race. I also have many different trinkets and gadgets made by the Gnomes sitting on the bookshelves.

I ask that you be seated in one of the many comfy chairs and read the histories or ,if you are trustworthy and gifted with magic, one of the many spellbooks I have here. For reading, most of my freinds tell me, take the chair that has a lever to it's side. The Gnomes made that device to recline back as if you were lying down. Also a footrest pulls up from the bottom of the chair. Quite comfy when reading! (Note: Gnomish devices don't always work the way they should. This chair has been known to try to "eat" a person in some situations. That unfortunate accident with an elf who trusted too much... )
